Mary Angelean Dawson age 89 of 301 Miles Road, was born March 30, 1923, in Cleveland County.

The daughter of the late Rev. Fred L and Gertrude F. Roberts Howell, departed this life on May 5, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center Shelby,

She attended Waco Elm/School, which founded and taught by her father.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband John Dawson, two son J.W. and Everett, seven siblings.

She leaves to cherish loving memories one son John A. (Dora) Dawson of the home, one sister, Melissa G. (Thomas) Kilgore, two brothers, S.S. (Vernice) and Wendell A. Howell, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2:30-3 p.m. Friday at Eskridge Grove Baptist Church

Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Friday at the church
